It might look like The Bachelor is a non-stop drama-fest, but previous contestants have debunked the show's secret: heavy editing. With today's tech, they can splice up video and put it back together to make people react any way they want. And what they want is as much conflict and theatrics as possible!

Storage Wars

No-one 100 years ago could have imagined that people would sit in front of a screen and watch highly-strung folks bid on random abandoned storage containers, but here we are. According to someone who used to work on the show, the auctions are staged and producers choose the contents of the containers. How disappointing.
