Mark Wahlberg Is Making Big Moves Down Under With His Wahlburgers Chain

It seems like Mark Wahlberg has been through several reincarnations throughout his life in the public eye. First, he was a delinquent child who almost ended up in jail during his Markie Mark days, then he was a movie star, and now he is the proud owner of a thriving restaurant chain- which is not the easiest thing to say in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. While Mark still acts occasionally and is the owner of a very impressive six-pack, it's his restaurant chain "Wahlburgers" that has been earning him press the day as the celebrity has sealed plans to take it international.
Wahlburgers to Head Down Under
In a smart move, Mark struck a deal that will see Walhburgers move to Australia, which coincidentally has not been hit as hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. He is partnering up with a prominent family-owned movie theatre chain to bring 15 new theatres to the land down under including locations in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Narellan, and Brisbane.
Restaurants will Be Located Inside Movie Theaters
Most likely due to Mark Walhberg's partnership with movie theater mavericks the Mustacas, all of the Wahlburgers restaurants will either sit next to or actually inside of United Cinemas. If the idea of eating a Wahlburger before or after the next blockbuster plays, the idea of exclusive content may be even more appealing. According to the terms of the deal, the partners are working hard to create exclusive content that customers will only see at the restaurant such as movie trailers before they are officially released and other yet to be announced film content.
Mark Had to Quarantine to Pitch His Idea
Mark was pretty dedicated to bringing his deal to life and had to quarantine for 14 days in Australia before he was allowed to conduct any business meetings or film a scheduled ad with Ladbrokes the online betting agency. The celebrity however was able to skip the hotel quarantine and self-isolate on his own at a private luxury retreat in Bryon Bay. His stay is estimated to have cost about $400,000, but it probably didn't mean much to Mark given that he immediately left and shot a video with Ladbrokes the online betting agency. In addition, he also made a stop by the Wooloomooloo F45 gym to lead an intense workout as an investor. One look at his six-pack should encourage the men down under that regular workout certainly works if you are dedicated.
